I'm so pleased to hear that you would like to meet with us! We offer a complimentary consultation to all of our couples to discuss your preferences and work with your budget to make appropriate recommendations. Please fill out our online questionnaire so we can learn about your big day and your requirements. Our Wedding Consultant will be in contact with you shortly to arrange a time to meet. In the meantime, below are some wedding flower-related FAQs that might help you along in the planning process and tell you a bit about our policies.

4. How come you don't have wedding prices on your website?

We like to work with our couple's budget to make appropriate floral recommendations. Perhaps you might fall in love with a bouquet full of calla lilies and orchids but can get a similar look using less expensive flowers more within your price range. That's where we come in! We also do not have floral packages as no two weddings are alike and we prefer the flexibility of custom packages.

5. What is your payment policy?

If, after your consultation, you are pleased with our service and would like to book with us, we require a 20% deposit to secure your date, which is non-refundable. At your next and final appointment (usually 2-3 months before your wedding), half of the balance is due. You have until 3 weeks before your wedding to make any changes to your order at which point your final payment is due. If, for any reason, the wedding is cancelled the week leading up to the wedding, all payments are non-refundable.

6. When is your wedding consultant available for consultations?

Our consultant is in the shop from Tuesdays to Saturdays. We take appointments Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00am-4:30pm, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00am-5:00pm and Saturdays from 11:00am-4:00pm. If none of those times work with your schedule, please contact us and we can make alternate arrangements. All consultations are done at our location – 329 March Road.

7. Do you offer wedding flower delivery outside of Ottawa?

Yes we do. Please let us know your delivery location and we will provide you with a quote.

8. Can I send someone to pick up my wedding flowers?

Yes, of course! All of the bouquets and arrangements are boxed and are easily transportable. All boutonnieres and corsages are labeled so they are easier to distribute. If the flowers are to be picked up, please confirm the pick up time with the wedding consultant beforehand so we can make sure everything is ready on time. If you require centerpieces or larger arrangements, it is always best to have us set them up to ensure they look their best, any broken flowers are replaced and to top up the water in each centerpiece, keeping them fresh.

9. What is your substitution policy?

In very rare cases, some flowers may not make it to our shop during transportation or they may be shipped in really bad condition. We try our hardest (and we mean our HARDEST) to find the flowers ordered but in some cases, substitutions may apply. If a main flower in your bouquet needs to be substituted, we will let you know right away so you can guide us on the best solution. If a minor flower needs to be substituted, we will use our best judgement in the substitution.

1. I live out of town and won't be in the area until closer to the wedding day, what are my options?

That's not a problem! You have two options. First, if you have relatives or friends in the area, they can book a consultation with us to discuss your options and we can email you with a breakdown of what was discussed. Secondly, we can always do a consultation over the phone or correspond by email. Either way, please fill out our questionnaire first so we have an idea of your requirements.

2. How far in advance should I book my complimentary consultation?

We usually recommend around 8 months before your wedding to come in for your complimentary consultation. We have, however, worked with tighter timelines.

3. What do I need to do in order to prepare for a consultation?

We ask that your bridesmaids' dresses be chosen before your appointment to make it easier to select appropriate florals. Then fill out our online questionnaire so we can get a better idea of your needs and can bring in some flowers to show you when we meet. Please provide links to photos of bouquets that you like so we have an idea of your vision (or bring them with you to your consultation if you are unable to send them through the questionnaire). We will then contact you as soon as we can to setup your appointment. Please allow us a few days between sending the questionnaire and scheduling your appointment so we can be better prepared for your consultation.

For the appointment, bring with you colour swatches and other décor items relating to the flowers that might be helpful during the consultation. If you're stuck without a vision, don't fret! We will work with you from the ground up on creating a personalized vision for you and your soon-to-be spouse.
