Hey guys! Sorry it’s been so long. As you can imagine things have been CRAZY the last few weeks. Once we realised we were closing in on the 1 month mark we got our butts in gear. I’m a procrastinator and can’t make decisions so that has left a lot of things to the last minute.

Last Sunday I was thrown yet another bridal shower by my fantastic mom and sis. It was a great day filled with yummy thai food, fun games and all my awesome friends and future family. Although I’m against bridal showers, they know me best and didn’t put me in the awkward bride’s chair where everyone looks at me the whole time. Actually everyone was admiring my wedding shoes which I coincidentally decided to break in that day. They are one of my favorite purchases from the wedding (possibly even surpassing my dress…).

So between work, photography shoots and website management I’ve been working like a mad woman on wedding stuff. We’ve finally started our 50+ coffin box favours and making the skull shaped chocolates. My next big thing is making the fascinators for myself and my bridesmaids. Our rsvp deadline was June 25th and would you believe we’re still waiting on a couple of people? Geez, people can be so rude sometimes. I almost feel like telling them “if you can’t take the 5 seconds to rsvp then I don’t want you there anyway!”…but that’s just my inner bridezilla. Not only that but almost all of our single friends have asked for a +1…sorry, we just don’t have the room! And to be brutally honest, I don’t want to be paying for someone I don’t even know!

Ok, I see a rant coming on so I’m going to stop myself. This post was not meant to rant, but just advise as to why I’ve been MIA for awhile. We’ve also been quite busy at the shop with lots of weddings and I will share those pics with you…probably after August 13th . The new edition of the Ottawa Wedding Magazine is now out featuring George (the magazine’s owner) and his lovely bride. There are quite a few pictures of the flowers so you should check it out!

Well I think that is all for my 5 second update. I really wish I could share more with you guys but these posts do take quite a bit of time that I just don’t have! I promise I will share everything after the day and provide you with tutorials about all the things I made. Also, I have some changes for the blog that I will be focusing on after the wedding so stay tuned for those. Ta ta!
